The Level Yoga Mentoring Program (75 hours) is an opportunity for 200 hour yoga teachers to refine their teaching skills. This program supports the growth of the teacher in an authentic way that is unique to their style of teaching. The program is designed to be completed in 3 months, but you will have up to a year to finish it.

How to teach from the heart - compassionate and intuitive teaching

How to read postural language and teach to all body types

How to skillfully sequence

How to cue with clear and concise instruction

How to weave yoga teachings into your classes without making students feel uncomfortable

How to adapt to your environment

How to stand out as a unique teacher

Plus:

Refine your alignment and practice

Refine hands on adjustments - how to avoid injuries

Establish a daily meditation and pranayama practice

Community engagement - how to be part of the larger community to do good

20 Hours of Continuing Education

Mentorship - you will meet with your mentor (in person or zoom) to discuss your goals and progress. You will be given assignments that relate to your interests. (12 hours)

Asana Practice - You are required to practice at the studio three times a week. One class with your mentor and the other classes with the teacher(s) your mentor will recommend. You will have a log that the teachers will comment and sign. (36 hours)

Observation - You will observe 6 classes. This will be done with your mentor or a teacher your mentor recommends. There will be a short discussion after with any questions that may have come up regarding sequencing, assist, etc. (6 hours)

Practice Teach - You will teach a Karma class to the community. Your mentor will observe and provide feedback. (1 hour)

Book Study - Your mentor will assign readings and writing assignments to be completed at home. This will be tailored to your interests. (20 hours)
