After a season of longer nights, the winter solstice draws attention to the importance of balance in life. Darker days call us to turn inward, cozy up at home or "hibernate" as nature does around us. We focus more on our inner selves and the people closest to us. The solstice is celebrated because it brings with it the hope of lighter and longer days to come.
Join Amanda Steadman and Saramaria for a celebration of the winter solstice. This class will begin with a grounding vinyasa flow that focuses on your intentions for the lighter days to come. Then, we will transition into a yin practice that gives you permission to honor yourself by slowing down. We will finish with a Japa meditation, reciting a mantra 108 times. This specific mantra is for removing obstacles that hold you back from achieving all that you desire for the year ahead.
